While visiting one of my cousins, I saw an interesting painting on her wall. I recognized it as one of her Grandfather's works. He was an illustrator and painter of church interiors, among many other facets. The painting is dated 1907. I do not know when he immigrated from Europe but this may have been some of his student work. I thought that I would repay her kindness for letting me stay with them for several days. I surreptitiously took some photos of his paintings and used this one as a basis for a pendent design. Obviously, I had to bend the scroll a bit to fit pleasingly into a diamond shape. The pendent is a 1.25 inch square of Argentium.
