    thanks so much for chiming it i had heard that they would flake off on the brasslite but didn't know that the solid brass would , I called Henry to get torque spec but they won;t give you any info even barrel torque

    Has anyone here ever engraved a henry big boy with the harden brass reciever. what did it cut like ,also did you remove the barrel -since barrel and mag tube all made together Any special wrench to remove barrel ,and does shading show up good on brass reciever . what graver angle did you use...
