I just checked the national doppler radar. At first I thought I'd been engraving too much, but on second glace there actually was a big scroll moving across the fruited plain. No tendrils or leaves . . . yet.

I am happy there were no tendrils.

Tendrils would be tornadoes and I live in the path of that thing. I had my share of tornado damage last year.
