Watch case engraving-- small English scroll & wildflowers

Here are photos of a stainless steel WWI trench style watch case that I engraved with small English scroll, wildflowers of SE USA, and running leaf border. Border is 2mm wide on face and 1mm wide on back of case.

I call the engraving on the back of the watch " a bouquet of scrolls" with the monogram providing the impression of a vase for the bouquet.

The watch case material was difficult as well as the compound curves to engrave.

Very nice work!!! May I ask how you "held it" while engraving it? Pitch, Glue....?

However in actual use the watch engraving fixture was too large. I reduced its size by more than 1/2 which these photos below show.

Would even be possible to use the jewellers inside ring holding fixtures to hold the watches. Front and back be easy enough to hold with thermoloc or pitch etc.

i'd say that ranks right up there with the best watch engraving to have come to the forum ! thanks for showing
