Sebastian ( Quillen) use hand push gravers, he had make greats free youtube videos about how to sharp by hand and basic exersices to learn how engrave with hand push gravers, are very good if you understand a little Spanish take a look to his youtube channel he have a lot of very good videos full of good advices
