If you want to record your hands and the general area of engraving then many video cameras mounted in the area do a pretty good job. I've even used a web cam that I taped up under the scope looking at the surface. It worked OK. If you want to capture what you actually see in the scope, especially if you want it magnified, then you either need a trinoc scope to mount the camera in the 3rd port, or you can try to mount the camera on one of the 2 eye holes of a regular scope, but that is tricky and then you can't see at the same time. With a good trinoc you can work unencumbered and capture at the same time.
