Transfer Method

People are always asking about transfers. There are many ideas that have been put here. This looks like one of the best. For me it depends on what I am doing. This would be a good method when doing a rifle or shotgun. When I do something like a pocketknife, I go back I just go to the old standby, acetone and laser printer. Also, when doing a transfer, I like to keep as much junk off the metal as possible. I guess it all depends on the engraver, the time involved, and the project.

Francolini and Ron Smith are very experienced and well-respected engravers. If they recommend this method, I am sure it is one of the best!
