Spade necklace.

Hi all, I just thought I'd share a photo of a pice I did last August. Inspired by the spade bits I grew up with. The necklace is in Sterling, with 14k yellow gold accents and set with sapphires. I have the shanks for the real spade bit cut out, and hope to finish it someday.

Then you are not far from scrim artist, Katherine Plumer, who posts here, and does top flight work.

She's on a ranch about 40 minutes drive east from Redding. I am in Mendocino, and Brian, you are very welcome to drop by if you get this far north!

Rod, I have seen some of Katherine's work, but I don't believe that I have ever met her. If I remember right she is in Oak Run, about 20 miles or so north of me.
Brian, thank you for the invite, I get down south about once or twice a year to visit friends in Gustine. If you ever get up this way let me know.
