I have a habit of always drawing my scrolls to the right hand direction.
so for this scroll I went to the left....just takes practice. I added another leaf so it would be easier to shade the loop section of the scroll.
if I was to add this engraving onto the back of a pend. I would only have to remove the background on the inside of the scroll work.
here is another sketch I did. its not finished as you can tell, but I did fall back to drawing the scroll in the direction of my right hand.
