Hi, does anyone have a chart on sizing cuff bracelets such as a 7 3/4" dia. wrist would require the silver to be what length before bending. Also is there a difference in mens or womens for a given wrist dia. ? Thanks for any help. Ken

Rio Grande has a ring shank/bracelet gage in there catalog. It is item number 116-022/10 for $10.95 for a package of 10. Ray Tec also carrys a metal version of it. Indian Jewelers Supply also carrys 2 different types. 1. Ring and bracelet gage #234-RBG $3.75 ea, 2. Standard Jewelers Gage #234-SJG $1.15 ea.
Hope this helps.

Ken,

I'm going to take the advice you've been given in this thread, but in the bracelets I've made so far I've found that for a cuff making it about 3/4" shorter than the circumference of the wrist works pretty well. That's for an open cuff where you rely on the flex to let it open enough to get it on and off.

I need to check into the sources we've been given to see if I'm doing it even close to right or not. :)
