SILVER HAIR KEEPER (baertte ?)

Hi, here is a silver hair clip. It is .625 wide and 2.5 inch long.It was cut with a 90 degree graver with a 20 degree parallel heel.The back ground was removed with a series of 45 degree flat gravers with a 30 degree heel.

Any comments or criticsms are of course very welcome. e11.jpg

Thanks for the look Dave. I should have noted this in the post, the original drawing is a classic design given me by the person the clip was made for. I had to redraw it but it is not an original design.

Not bad Scott. But one point that sets out really good anglo-saxon/celtic from the rest is keeping all your bands exactly parallel; no wandering in or out, or slight widening and narrowing. It's not easy to do and although often it looks simple, it's not as there is nowhere to hide.

But overall, you've not done a bad job, well done.
