I received an e-mail from Brownell's today indicating that Roger Bleile's book "American Engravers - 21st Century" is on sale for $49.99 (normally $69.99). I promptly bought a copy, but wanted to pass this along in case anyone here is interested.

Thanks for mentioning this. The regular price is actually $75. so the Brownell's price is quite a bargain while they last. I spoke with the publishing company last week and they only have a very few copies left in inventory. This book will not be reprinted. I will be working on a completely new edition this fall. FWIW, my earlier engraving book originally sold for $29.95. Used copies have been selling for between $150.-$400. (depending on condition) for the last several years.

We expect pre-publication orders to ship just before Christmas 2014. There is a lot of work to do between now and then.
