Question: Rudolph Kornbrath engraved Rifle

Hi Monk, they are not very organized, I have many thousands of photos of engraving, I keep them on a spare hardrive and burn to cd and dvd for backup, I mainly spit them out as I get them, onto forums when they relate to the subject.

As to the Baker, I believe it may be Kornbrath. If you look at the 1924 Police Positive in the Colt Book of Engraving page 287, there is an example of this style attributed to Kornbrath.
I have handled sporting rifles attributed to Kornbrath in this style also.
Of course, it is all opinion without a written record on the particular piece.

Colt an American Legend by R.L.Wilson page 217 two New Service 44's by R.J.Kornbrath,the Colt on top has the same style of engraving thats on the Baker double.J.J.
