ALL beginners need to see what it takes to do the level of craftsmanship and art as Paul has just so generously shared with the world.

I cant seem to find the compressor or pneumatic tools?

Wheres the ball vise?

How can this be??????

I hope others are losing sleep over this stuff.

Well, nothing change since this photo was taken. Newer used pneumatic tools with compressor, newer liked ball vise.
For zoning reason can't engrave guns at home anymore, leasing studio outside of town. The bench is much more modest.

the first foto resembles a trainwreck. i'd feel right at home at your bench, paul ! neat, well organized benches-- well, too much time cleaning-- not enough time for engraving.

I am envious of the cleanliness of your bench, it looks very well organized to me. I have never understood the theory of stopping work 1/2 hour early each day to clean and put tools back in their storage area. That adds up to many hours a month (10 - 16 hrs - and that doesn't include getting it all back out the following day) that one could be working and actually get something done. Thanks for posting the photos.
