I found it easier to cut like this in two parts instead of the whole way with a flat graver, but I need to get better control with the flat also.

Beautiful Letters and flare cuts. One thing I would like to make a suggestion that was made to me ( I think Mike Dubber suggested this ) I notice you flick your chips with your finger. I did this also until I flicked one a little to hard and put a big scratch in my work. The suggestion to me was to go and buy a big makeup brush and use it when cleaning off the chips from my engraving work.

Great Job! I have seen roman lettering cut like this when they hand push. Making the bevel cut to the center looks good especially with larger letters . I also do that sometimes with large script as well.

One thing I noticed was that you didn't spell my name correctly. I thought you were engraving that for me to send with some of that chocolate from Iceland. I have to admit it rivals the Belgian chocolate for sure.

You are to blame for my obsession with this engraving stuff. Spelling has never been my best subject and the chocolate must have been lost in the mail or eaten by customs officers.
