Hi Arnaud, Each scroll is about 19mm long. It's an aluminium clutch cover from Harley Davidson.

i sure like it. what did you use for the stippling ? i think that really provides a good background for your design.

Hi Monk,
The outside waves were done with a vibro-type engraver. The ground inside the bamboo was done by stippling with a dremel and then flattening with a punch.

Here it is finished.

thanks, dutch. the full foto shows a very fascinating piece of work. the design reminds me of many of the images andrew engraves. a quite interesting look you have acheived.
