where do you get your spurs, do you make them and then engrave them? or do you buy blanks and then engrave them..

Thanks

Is there a place that you recommend that I can buy a set that would be engraver friendly? My father in law wants some, and it would be a great learning experience for me.

thanks

Jeremiah Watt (Spadebit) has some real nice spurs that you can buy unblued. They cut real nice and you can also silver mount them. Have a look at his website. Ty.

I can build the spurs, and cut the silver in one 8hr day, mount and engrave in a second 8hr day. materials cost around 45$ with abrasives and all. thanks for all your posotive comments i look forward to getting home and making more!
