Just braggin' on my nephew!

Over this past weekend my brother's son, Nic, won the Colorado State 4H Junior Skeet and 5-Stand Championships against about 80 other kids. His scores beat the Senior champ in skeet and tied the Senior winner in 5-Stand. He also finished 7th in Trap. His total combined score for the three events was better than the Senior combined champ, who qualified to go to Nat'ls. Not bad for a 14 yr old whippersnapper...

I love seeing kids in the shooting game!!!! Very Old family tradition of ours to give each child a new .22 when they turn 11. Everyone of us has the .22 we were given still.
