I took the GRS bright cut class and was really going at the practice but reality (income) set in and had to get back to making some saddles. Now I can take a break and get back to cutting some metal but my muscle memory forgot something along the way. My bright cut groups have an awful drag line on the outside of the curve and I can't remember how I rectified that. Can anyone point me in the right direction? 5 hours into it today and I am not fixing it by myself. I'm running a flat at 45/15 or 17. Thanks for the help.

...and remember to rotate your work into the graver. When I try to help the graver and rotate my hand, thats when I get drag. Not meaning rotating my wrist to add bevel to the cuts, but changing the direction that my hand is pointing.

Are you using a rounded heel? If not, you could be cutting too deep for the length of heel. I use a longer rounded heel. I also try to put aside 30 minutes to make some bright cut groups after I have finished my saddle work for the day. Ty.
