Hi All,
Here is a picture of the second annual Hobo Nickel carving class held during the American Numismatic Association's Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs. It was a week long class where students learned how to size and sharpen their gravers, cut, and finish hobo nickels. As I am predominantly a hammer and chisel carver, I am very thankful that Dave London, Adam Leech, and Ron Landis all spent time teaching hand graver and pneumatic carving with the Lindsay palm control, giving the students experience with several methods. Who knows, there may have been a budding pro engraver in the class.
