Hello. I was wondering what are some good, affordable and collectible knives to scrimshaw on. Probably somewhere in the fifty dollar range. Something similar with white bone to this knife I am posting here. This is a Rough Rider knife and although cheap in price, the quality is actually really good. I'm just looking for what brands, other than Case XX, are good scrimshaw knives. Even with jigged bone handles I could sand and polish myself? I've been doing scrimshaw about six months, so still trying to learn technique and good types of knives to scrim on. Oh and also ones that are a very collectible brand and I won't get into trouble with the manufacturer if I use their knife brand to scrimshaw on. Thank-you for all your help.
