My name is Kim. I have been performing scrimshaw since July 17, 2013. My son, Jake Bauer, encouraged me to try this art form. I still have a lot to learn. Welcome to the forum, Kim. I am not a scrimshander, but it looks like you are off to a great start. If you don't have it already, FEGA has a DVD that was made at the show this year by Katherine Plumber that shows some of the tricks of scrim. Hope that helps.

Nice work I especially like the woman and the bird. Sandra Brady has DVDs on learning scrimshaw I own them they are excellent.
