There are already other treads about it, but I would like to show you my solution.
Old hard drive with a diamond disk for € 10 and secured with hot glue. Works well, but should not be too hard grind at.Fine grinding I do then with cheap diamond plate used for knife sharpening.
Thanks for posting. I have few 5.25" drives around that would work for this. If ever I get away from silver and back to steel I'll need to upgrade from hand sharpening and push graving.
I'm surprised someone hasn't come up with a "CNC Hone" made from some old hard drive steppers and controlled with a Arduino or Raspberry Pi. I should/could do that...... I can never decide if I want to spend my time building new and better tools or stick with push engraving.
