i could do these for you to use on a pantograph. i could also make them on my laser. i'd need much more info as to exactly what or how you would use them. no pm's please

I have emailed with him/her.
They are engraving the item themselves.
They want a "template" to transfer the designs onto item.
Then they can engrave.
Sounds more like they want a transfer,as item will be hand engraved,NOT looking for an engraver.

So someone can sell him/her some bakery parchment :biggrin: At least I can sent some toner printings on bakery parchment after my Pay Pal is visited.
Sound a great idea anyway to sell designs this way, just have to find out a good way to pack it properly.
Any other candidates here?, any design on my website?

It could work if the transfer method was compatible, Tom White's transfer solution comes to mind. If someone is willing to do this for you first you must have the transfer medium or they must provide it or the transfers will be useless to you. Then in order for the transfers to be the right size the original drawing will need to be framed and marked as to the exact frame size. This sounds like a self eliminating problem as you will need to learn to use whatever the transfer method is chosen. If you find someone who will use Tom White's stuff I think he ships worldwide and HP 1000 deskjet printers are really cheap.

I need to edit this, I seem to remember mrthe saying the solution could not be shipped to some places as a liquid but had found some way to use it powdered.

Bob, yes Tom ships world wide but not the liquid on his Tom White's.
So you have to be a bit of a laboratory to make the same Tom White's one. At least that is the way Tom is willing to sent it to my address.
But the damar varnish does the job as well.

BOROORC: Why don't you cut a master plate and lift a smoke print from it for future pieces. You can also lift an ink print,or use bee's wax or chap stick.
