first knife engraving

This is a small black mop al mar knife I engraved over the weekend. The background is relieved and stippled. It's pretty small. Bolster measures approximately 16x9mm

Thanks Bruce. I have another that I will be doing but I'm working on a gun right now. I finally came up with some scroll designs to put on my 1911 .45. I ran the design by a few people before I started to get some input, which was very helpful. I have inlayed some gold lines, and engraved the main lines on the scroll that's on the top of the slide. It's a lot different working on something the size of a gun versus the jewelry items I'm accustomed to doing. I've quickly found that the scope really is a hinderance when doing the scroll engraving on the gun.

Once ive completed the gun I will post pictures.
