Ed Shulin

I know that some of the members of this forum knew Ed Shulin. Ed taught stock making at the gunsmith school in Trinidad Colorado for over twenty years.

I just called to talk with him and his wife Lee told me Ed passed away a week ago of cancer.

That is to bad. Ed was a fine Gentleman and great teacher. I still have the tools and stock I did in his class back in 1986.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Ed Shulin. Thanks for letting us know, Ed.
During my teaching time at Trinidad Ed and I often had classes at the same time.
And one year Ed Shulin decided to take my engraving class and that was great fun.
I have a beautifully stocked Browning O/U that Ed did for me that is still waiting for me to find the time to engrave.
Mrs. Lee Shulin is a very fine artists and her oil painting of the mountains of the Raton Pass hangs in my bedroom. My deepest sympathy to dear Lee.
Ed Shulin was a great stockmaker and a fine teacher, much loved by all his students.
His passing will leave a sad spot in a lot of hearts. God's speed, Ed.
