Hi,

When I search on the internet I find two different stones, Diamond and Ceramic

Are they really different or they are same ?

if they are different what is the difference ?

is more grit ( 2000 ) better for heel sharpening or less grit like 1000 better ?

I don't put the stones to power hone, I will put them on table and I will sharpen gravers by hand.

The larger the grit number, the finer the grit. The finer the grit the more reflection you get from the cut lines you make. If I'm not mistaken in most cases the diamond cuts faster but is a bit course. I use one of these : http://www.fallkniven.com/en/shop/details/369/13/sharpeners/dc4. Best of both worlds in one stone. I think I got mine from Amazon.com for about $20 US.

Thanks for your response,
this is a perfect stone,

I can buy it but I have a last question,

Do you hae and heel drag problem with this stone ?

Heel drag problems do not come from what you use to sharpen it come from how you sharpen, what angle you give to your graver. It is one of this case when you cannot blame the tool (the stone).
