Update on the Desert Eagle engravability question I asked last month. I now have an answer for you.
The Desert Eagle is an engravable gun, but it is only for the well advanced engraver. The slide is quite hard, but doable. The frame is a bit easier than the slide, but not as easy to cut as the barrel. However, there are several areas that are concave curves, so you had better know some unique or novel tool geometries and cutting angles. Charge more than you think the job is worth, and you will come close to the right number!
