Dear Masters,

in Poland we have a lot of beautiful flowers. And women. Truth is that they are much more beautiful.

Unfortunately I do not have sufficient amounts of gold and talent. Therefore I could only do one little flower.

The beginning - 13 g of gold.
At the end - 6,5 g.

Please, look at this painful journey.

A magical moment, which is the most well-liked by all the goldsmiths. When you can ruin the current achievements - a soldering.

Before setting.
Yes! You are right.
Why this madman left a such short pillars?!
I have no idea.
And I do not have a nice swiss mechanical hammer to close these hard white gold tips...
Remember! I am only just a poor and humble craftsman with two, naked hands...

But finally!

Now that is what I call strong fingers

Oh! A good joke.
I had to be a pianist. My Mom had such a strong dream.
I left that job to others, far better.
Let me introduce the the best of us:

all good engravers wear clothing on their hands. it would seem, however, notwithstanding your lack of personal funds, perhaps they're not needed in your case.

You dont often see that kind of workwomanship (even workMANship).
Where have you been hiding?
Its as if you have exposed an lost treasure chest for us to feel the works of times gone past.
Thank you very much !

That's a great old fashioned coroner cluster :)
A few too many claws on the centre & yes maybe a fraction too short..maybe you could have left it as a rubover but nevermind!
You have learnt well the "old school" goldsmithing & your setting is also very neat..keep posting.

It was planned. This solution is very safe for the stone. Owner's style o wearing jewels is so dynamic...So I had to do this.

The smaller stones have additional protection, too - type of wings, shock absorbing the potential impacts.

I always start from function. The form is secondary.
