Finished this one up late last night. Deep relief, with the best shading I can do. This is my take on Lynton McKenzie Victorian scroll and fine shading. The glare coming off the stainless is very difficult to deal with so when I'm engraving, I apply transfer wax to the surface to get rid of the shine. The glare makes it very difficult to see the point of the graver. The wax makes it much more comfortable and easier to see.

Bert, I think that is one of your nicest designs and cutting jobs yet. It comes from the air down there at "Pueblo by the two rivers, Amigo - You get down south toward the Stem Beach turn off and look off to the east and you will see my home town, Lime-was a ghost town then the Mill dozered it. It was Comanche tribal trust land for as long as the grass would grow and the sun would rise and set. Then CF&I needed the lime pits we were supposed to farm. As the Man so eloquently said-A bad Day at Black Rock CF&I paid a price for our homes and dignity. It is good I was sent to the west slope or more bombs would have gone off. Ludlow Colorado is the scene of a massacre of men women and children by the mill. My mother and father worked in the company store into the 60's and they still kept the machine guns and other arms there. Ah "Pueblo by the two rivers" Brought great news to family on and off res as it slowly shut down bit by bit. They still making rails and nails I have a long list of family who died in their service or against it. Still own lots at Colorado city. Fred
