Colt Custom 100 years 1911

Just finished this 1911 38 super in bright stainless for a regular client. Features interlocking American scroll. As a point of interest the client requested I set diamonds in the front and rear sights on this one. I burnish set them with the sights in place on the gun. This makes the setting a little tricky as you want a nice consistent "chamfer" around the stone. Stopping and going at it from opposite directions makes it challenging to get the even chamfer. Cold bluing is applied to the sights after setting match the factory color of the surrounding sight.
