I'm working on a shotgun for an auction to raise money for Court Appointed Special Advocates. They represent children under protection of Child Protective Services.

It's on a Remington 870.

The engraving looks very nice! I hope they raise thousands.

Hopefully they will order more, and issue them to those appointees. My nephew works for CPS and won't relate the stories he could. He feels it would disturb us too much. He also is thankful that he is 6'2" and 225lbs. It has helped avoid a few confrontations. Would be nice to weed some of the perverts and abusers out before they tie up so much court money and time.

Very nice! What kind of finish to the steel? Will it be left in the white, or Blued? I got the wifey an 870 for Christmas one year and was wondering what it would look like blued instead of the textured finish that on it.

The person with the non-profit asked that I French Gray it. Will color the background with flat black. Barrel and magazine tube will remain blued. They did not want to pay for the bluing, and since I send that out, I didn't either.
