auction lots- inexpensive knives

The GSA auction site has a number of lots of knives, including gerber, spydeco, and
Go to http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucalsrh/ and enter "knives" in the search box. Currently a lot of 30 gerber pocket knives works out to about $6/knife, and a lot of 300 "generic" pocket knives (probably junk) is around $100.

Might not be anything worthwhile unless you have a storefront with a bargain box up front, but perhaps there is something good in there.

probably TSA takeaways. my local fleamarket had about 10 five gallon buckets of knives that came from such an auction, for the grand sum of $1 each. I ended up buying over $300 worth of Victornox or Wenger Swiss Army knives. Most of them where the minis, but got about 20 full size knives, about 6 that were the everyimplement known to man variety. Plus I got some other odds and ends Case, Schrade, Bokers as I run across them, culled a whole lot of Chinese copies though
