Hello, I'm a newbie over in Australia - any advice on optimum air pressure for my air compressor?
I use a GRS graversmith and 20L oil free silent compressor.
Recently i fiddled with the pressure guage on the compressor as it was playing up and have found the handpiece no longer feels "smooth" but a little jumpy / inconsistent.
Thanks in advance!

Check the specs in the GRS manual, but I believe they recommend about 10psi more from the compressor than their machine requires. In other words, you should always have a little more air available than the engraving machine needs. I think i keep mine at about 45psi.

What Mitch said,

when I had questions and contacted GRS 45psi was the recommended pressure into the machine
