Nice job so far Shawn. Let us know how it works going from flat stock to shaping a ring. I've been working on some engraved bands and it changes the way you go about your work. You really have to think about what you are doing when working at that scale. The things that work on larger pieces just wont at this size.
If the engraving will hold up to the shaping I may have to rethink the way I'm engraving my rings. Aside from a test piece, I worked on already formed rings. Working flat would make the engraving easier. Keep us filled in on this one.

Beautiful ring. what method did you use to solder end together. I assume you retouched the engraving then to make the flow of the vine work

bill I used hard solder.
I left a small area blank.... if the ring needs to be resized.
