Smith & Wesson Class A

Hi all,

Hope you dont mind me sharing this. I recently picked up a compact S&W compact with factory Class A. The finish is satin nickel. I put some ink on it when I got home. Really like the result! Those factory engravers seem to know what they are doing!! This was done in the early 80's. Any idea on who may have done this one?

Check under the grips, you can sometimes find something there

Maybe you could take close up of the back strap and side some you miss something and somebody picks it up

Paul Piquette was S&W's lead factory engraver in the early 80s. A close up of the scroll would help me determine who did it.

Completely disassembled the gun and found no signature or mark. Here is a close up on the scroll. I was quite surprised how the small cut lines in the shading add up to a very 3D effect when viewed af arm's length.
