Hi all,
My father is a retired jeweler that now spends 3 days a week on the golf course. He asked me to take some old diamonds he had, and set them into a golf ball marker he had made from some old gold. He gave me the disc to work with, but I had not seen the divot tool that it attaches to with a magnet. I think I kind of lucked out that the style I engraved and set goes pretty nicely with the tool it fits into.
This is my first attempt at background removal type engraving of this scale. Most of my jewelry engraving is much different, so go easy on me !
These aren't photos, I just used my scanner. Sorry they're a little out of focus.
Happy Birthday, Dad!
