Hi all,
Please take a look at this scribbling and let me know if there is any hope. Andrew Biggs was kind enough to look at some drawings for me a while back, but I fear I'm making the same mistakes over and over (ARRRGGGHHH). It's supposed to be the outline of a rifle floor plate. It's quite different trying to make decent looking scrolls fit into a particular space than it is just drawing random sctolls on paper. thanks for the help.

Hi Todd

Not bad, not bad at all. In fact a very pleasing design.

I've given you some things to think about.

A little more shape to the leaves perhaps??

The red imaginary line............where your scrolls originate from now is very abrupt. By continuing the red line and placing your leaves accordingly gives it a bit better flow.

Anyway, something to think about and always remember that this is just the way I see things. Others may think differently :)

Cheers
Andrew
