Recently finished spurs

These are some spurs I recently finished. They include my first shot at carving/sculpting the animals. They were time consuming but a lot of fun to do. I welcome any comment or critique.

I really like the flowers on the buttons and the horse....looks real nice!!!

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I also want to give a special thank you to Lee Griffiths. I did not really even know how to start the sculpting and a few hours with Lee got me headed in the right direction. Thank you Lee. Now I need more practice. I really did enjoy the sculpting/carving and will be doing more of it. While it was seriously time consuming it was also very rewarding.

Owen - the conchos on the shank and band are first formed and then soldered on. The concho with the horse is a low dome steel concho with the silver horse soldered on top of it, then sculpted. Does that answer your question?
