This year we're going to experience four unusual dates. 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11 and that's not all.

Take the last two digits of the year you were born - now add the age you will be this year, and the result will be 111 for everyone...!!

This year October will have 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays and 5 Saturdays. Also July will have 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays

This happens only every 823 years... :tiphat:

Sorry to be a party blooper, but this 5 Mon, Sun, Sat thing is not true. Last "5 July" was in 2005, next will be 2016. It helps to verify the facts :)

Vilts,
Look at the calender for October 2011. Saturdays are; 1, 2,8, 15, 22, 29. Sundays are; 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Mondays are; 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. And July 2011, Fridays are; 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. Saturdays are; 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Sundays are; 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

David,
Some times the magic works and some times it doesn't make it all the way.:tiphat:

I use oddities of the calendar to pick days to buy lottery tickets. Works as good as anything else. Still haven’t won. And the Mayan Calender runs out on December 21, 2012.
I am going to be mad when I wake on December 22, 2012 and nothing has happened.
