Default 1st practice plate with the new air tac

I know there is more than a lot of room for improvement but here is my first practice plate with my new toy. This is my design and from cutting it I know that I made a bunch of design errors. Sometimes I just don't see a design flaw until I try to cut it. Any suggestions will be well received.

    Hey Bama, hows it going?

it looks good at first glance, but there are some areas that can be improved. Why don't you self critique it first , with the areas that you see can improved as I am sure you have enough expereince to make a pretty good go at it, and then we'll add to anything if necessary.

A gun and a parachute have a common dynamic. When you need one nothing else will really suffice.

    Thanks Scott

Things are well down here in Baton Rouge, just a little chilly compared to most of the country right now.

OK Scott here is my critique:

Design needs more refining and tuned up to flow a little better.

Line cutting can use a lot of work

    Shading needs lots of work

Baackground removal needs to be smoother before being stippled.

Basically thow it away and start over.

Take a look at my 2nd plate, I put it in another post. It is a little more standard scroll.
