Very nice!!! I like that allot. It has a classic feel to it from a time long past.
I especially like the treatment that you did to the scroll heads on the larger scrolls.
Thanks for posting.

Impeccable work! I love the way you built that contrast with the large leafy scrollwork in a field of english; I also like the placement of the large scrolls in the corners. Really nice layout and balance.

I find the design refreshing. Love how the roses grow from the scrolls themselves. I also find it interesting that you shaded the outer edges of the leaves in the "outside work", rather than the more common shading into the scroll top.

Jean Marie: Beautiful design and execution:tiphat:

Rocco: Do I understand correctly that this style is called "Prince Albert" in Belgium? Do you know why this name is attached to this style?

Thanks,

Roger

in the land of Scrolls,
I I also find it interesting that you shaded the outer edges of the leaves in the "outside work", rather than the more common shading into the scroll top.

Doc , thats a very subtle difference to notice, youve got some sharp eyes on you. It does make for distinct pattern not obvious as first glance

Rocco, thanks for that info too, I didn;t know it
