This on the right hand side of a large Bedrock #6 plane- thought I'd try something a bit different:

Hi Cloudy

A little more about borders. :)

You have a wide border there similar to a picture frame. There is quite a large separation (gap) between your engraving and the outline of the plane. Which is not a problem but it visually separates the engraving from the outline of the plane.

This can be improved a bit further with the addition of a double border around your work. In other words you put another line around your existing cut border line. But make it only about .75mm from the existing border. Make it smaller if you want but certainly no bigger than 1mm (depending on the size of the canvas)..............................This helps visually pull the whole thing together.

And its nice to see that your scrolls are touching the borders.

Cheers
Andrew
