I found I needed more storage for my engraving stuffs, so have been working on dovetailing drawers (by hand) and practicing inlays- lots of room now!

Hi Cloudy ... great work. The first thing that came to mind is custom presentation cases. There are not a lot of really good case makers out there. There are literally very "few" and they have a 3-4 month backlog even in this economy.

A beautiful personal piece of great woodworking! Well done, and so useful!

Have you thought about wall mounting the chest just where it is but, say, 9 inches above the bench surface, allowing the full bench surface to continue to be used?
