While I'm scanning stuff I found this gem from John Rohner.
I should have posted this last week, but in this case I think better late than never. This was a letter he wrote two years ago at age 85, about his Honor Flight to Washington.

what a great thing for john to experience. one can only wonder how depressing this must have been for him all those years. well, at last, he has got his peace of mind.

Times sure have changed... When I returned home as a Marine 1969-70 I was spit on by a young lady (hippie) while at the airport (LAX)... I was in uniform.

Like I said it was a different time.
