ok, it's purtty, it's cool, & even nice lookin. but what is it ? sam pays me a lot of green stamps to post these fotos in the archive, but i need to know what the item is.

i used a flat....45 face 15 heel

monk is this not flair style engraving? i was trying to copy some of rogers flair cuts.

thanks shawn. roger bleile, our lexicographer in residence, calls this a "flare" cut. so be it. not transition anymore. roger has done an absolutely beautiful buckle in this style. check it out in the archive, i think it's listed in jewelry. i've become an absolute fan of this style of engraving. i'm not playing favorites here, but to me, roger sort of "owns" this style right now. his flare stuff is just-- well- go look at it ! you'll see what i mean.
