This definitely won't do justice to SAM's design.
However, we are grateful he has graciously permitted us to practise on.
U are at liberty to critique the effort to Your hearts content.
We need to learn anyway.

Is this a drawing or engraved. Hard to tell. Nice job either way. Sam's scrolls ARE beautiful!! Tnx!

This is an engraving on a brass plate which has been blackened.
Done on a turntable which was not even rotating smoothly.
Hence the non-parallel line cuts.
Sam's work is indeed exceptional.

i'm not really qualified to critique work at that level. but i am able to say i like it very much.
