Hello,

Optical Art, something different, Inlays are silver and copper with selective pen plating for the gold and nickle on the impossible triangle.

Now ---if I can get that buzzing noise out of my head!

Great work, specially in the wasps!
I like it very much although I think it is a way too modern concept for a muzzle-loader.
Thank you for sharing your work!

Roger and Monk,
I can not open the photos with the Internet Explorer but the Google Chrome did the job, so you may try with other navigator.

Best regards,
Leonardo

Well, I sure can see the pics, and they are spectacular! This design is as far from traditional gun engraving as you can get. But, it really works for me. Takes me back to when the Op-Art movement was so popular. You must have gone nuts sitting down and designing this piece, much less the fun of inlaying all those separate sections! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for the input.
I will reformat the pictures using a different program, the pic's show up too blue. Work Work Work,

I guess

If it was easy----anybody could do it.

PS What I do with that with pictures that do not load quickly or stall out , is click away from the pic frame and then reclick the thumbnail.

Sorry, I should of mentioned that it is in "22 Hornet Cal."
It is a Jimmy Johnson III rifle, a Custom Gunmakers Guild member.

The new one works! :thumbs up:

I'm one of the ones who can't open the original set at all.

That is cool!

Thank you metalchipper.
Please excuse my ignorance but I was intrigued by that action.
As I told you, I liked the wasp most. Do you have a close up picture?

Best regards, Leonardo.

Hi Mark

That worked for me.

Very unusual and clever designs. The hornet riding the bullet is great and the way you've done the surrounding background to give the whole thing movement is very clever and well done.

Cheers
Andrew
