I think that your texture on the copper is fantastic,could you elaborate on it a little for us?could this be done using gold or silver?

I like the look of that copper as well. To me, it looks like the purified sheet pulled off the cathode when refining copper.
Knife Copper
I am afrade I can't be of mutch help on the orign of the copper, it was given to me by a knife maker friend. It appears to have been a trim molding on something, the front edge had a lip on it, belive it to have been pored, it has voids on the back side, have no idea how it was made.Deane Thanks for your comments.
