Took two nickel silver sheaths to the guy that does some engraving for me, thay were all finished and lined, told me he could not do tham, he sticks them down with shellac and it would ruin the liners. Probably not many of you guys engraving this type of thing, I made the fixture in the first picture to hold the sheath, it has two fixed pins on the end where the adjusting screws are, the pins on the outher end are flouting, you can adjust the angle, the jaws are micarta, ran a ball end mill down them so thay fit the radios on the sides of the sheath, lined them with light leather, cut slots for the cap on the sheath, thay work well. Made the other three for lack of something better to do.Deane

Excellent work, FYI double stick back tape will hold most projects like this. a little alcohol will release the object when the work is done:thumbs up:

Your San Fransisco dagger sheaths are really nice. This style of dagger and sheath are classics and you do a terrific job on them. Fred
